A site that cannot be crawled cannot be chosen. Most 'SEO' retainers skip that fact and sell posts. Technical SEO is the unglamorous work: can a crawler reach the page, is there one canonical URL, does the internal graph point at the thing you actually sell, and is the page fast enough to keep.
We do not guarantee a ranking. Anyone who does is selling something they do not control. The deliverable is architecture you can inspect — and an honest read of whether the site can carry it.
How we engage
Project-shaped growth work — AEO, technical SEO, custom marketing software, content systems — uses Software Development terms. Ongoing marketing sits on Presence. The operating layer, agents running through the night, sits on Mandate. Current rate. We confirm it on the invoice before any work starts. The figure can change until that invoice is sent. The figures are on the pricing page.
What the program covers
Crawl and index hygiene: robots, sitemap freshness, orphan pages, parameter traps, and the difference between what you published and what Google actually fetched. Information architecture and internal linking so the commercial pages are the ones the graph endorses. Canonicals and duplicates treated as a single-source problem, not a plugin setting.
Core Web Vitals as a discovery concern, not a Lighthouse screenshot. If the site was built here, Websites & Apps already budgeted performance; this program is the layer on top. If it was not, we say whether the foundation can hold or whether a rebuild is the cheaper honesty.
How it sits next to AEO
Technical SEO is crawl, index, and choice on a results page. Answer Engine Optimization is machine-readable entity, schema, and citations so an assistant can name you. We do both. They are not the same page and not the same promise.
We will not install third-party pixels, retargeting, or session replay to 'prove' the work. Measurement is Search Console, server logs, and owned probes you can export. Paid ads are out of scope.
What it costs
Technical SEO uses Software terms. A focused audit of a small site is a smaller surface; a multi-template architecture pass is a larger one. Ongoing marketing sits on the care-and-marketing monthly once the first architecture is in.
If the brief is really 'get us into ChatGPT,' that is AEO — and still not a mention contract. If the brief is a site that does not exist yet, that is Websites & Apps first.
